Snipes sentenced to three years in prison
On Thursday, Judge William Terrell Hodges of Federal District Court sentenced actor Wesley Snipes to three years in prison for willfully failing to file tax returns. Snipes received one year for each count, to be served consecutively, and an additional year of probation. A member of his legal team stated that they would appeal the judge’s decision.
