Lost: Fourth Season coming to stores in December
Walt Disney Home Entertainment has unveiled its DVD and Blu-ray plans for Lost: The Complete Fourth Season - The Expanded Experience, as reported by DVDActive. The sets will contain the following bonus features: bloopers, audio commentaries, deleted scenes, “Lost on Location,” “Freighter Folk,” “Transforming Hawaii,” “Gun Tracking” and “The Music of Lost.” Season four of Lost may be found in stores on December 9.
Lost, Grey’s Anatomy get extra hour this season
TV Guide has the scoop that a 14th hour for this season’s Lost has been ordered, bringing the show’s season finale to three hours. The first hour will air on May 15. However, since ABC is convinced that the final two hours should air together, the network has scheduled them for May 29. On May 22, Grey’s Anatomy will fill the Lost void with an extra hour.
Feud continues in primetime
NBC and American Idol producer FremantleMedia North America are preparing a celebrity edition of Family Feud, to air in primetime as early as this summer. Although the series is more than thirty years old, this will mark the first time that Feud has been converted into a regular primetime network show. Word has yet to arrive on which celebrities will appear on the show or how they will be grouped. For instance, could viewers see the Baldwin’s take on the Lohan’s? Or is a battle between the casts of Lost and Heroes soon to take place? Variety has more on this story.

Coming Soon spreads the word of a new promotion for Columbia Pictures’ action-thriller Vantage Point. TV spots promoting the picture will air during the season premiere of Lost and the Super Bowl XLII telecast. The ads will direct viewers to the Vantage Point website, challenging them to solve a mystery inspired by the film.
Showcasing a new image from the highly anticipated film, Empire speaks with producer Frank Marshall about Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. According to Marshall, the movie is already locked and ready for John Williams’ score.
Variety notes that Oliver Stone has found funding for his next directorial project, Bush, to focus on the life of current U.S. President George W. Bush. Helping make the film a reality is QED, the production/financing company started three years ago by Bill Block, Paul Hanson and Elliot Ferwerda. QED will sell offshore territories next week at the European Film Market in Berlin, with domestic distribution expected to arrive shortly afterward.

Coming Soon has the ABC press announcement that a special presentation of the Lost - Season Three two-hour finale, “Through the Looking Glass,” will air Wednesday, January 30 at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT. The episode’s re-airing will be enhanced with on-screen facts and back story to catch new viewers up on the series in preparation for its fourth season.
Meanwhile, ABC and Marvel Comics are teaming to insert Lost images and references in various comic book series, such as Uncanny X-Men, Incredible Hercules, Thunderbolts and Wolverine Origins.
The Hollywood Reporter indicates that John Noble has been cast as one of the three leads in the Fox sci-fi drama Fringe, from J.J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. Lance Reddick has likewise taken a role in the project.

Due to an American Idol lead-in and viewer curiosity, the Fox game show Moment of Truth broke the record for this season’s highest-rated new series premiere. According to TVWeek, truth grabbed 23 million viewers and scored a 10.2 preliminary rating among adults 18 to 49, retaining 94% of its Idol audience (10.8)
The Price is Right, hosted by Drew Carey, is returing to prime time with six new specials to be broadcast on Fridays, informs Coming Soon. The evening episodes start February 22 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET/PT), on CBS.
