Spielberg to shoot Lincoln in 2009
Steven Spielberg has revealed he will begin shooting his film on U.S. president Abraham Lincoln, at the start of 2009. According to Screen Daily, the director wants the movie to “open in the same year as Lincoln’s 200th anniversary”. Meanwhile, Spielberg still wants to make Chicago Seven, which would focus on the famous 1960s trial of the protesters at the 1968 Democratic convention in Chicago. However, it seems that the project’s screenplay is not quite ready.
