Pixar, Warner Bros. travel to Pompeii ruins
SlashFilm notices that in Newsweek, Campania’s new regional heritage councilor, Claudio Velardi, mentioned that Pixar and Warner Bros. are interested in using the ruins of Pompeii for a future movie set. It is known that the two studios are collaborating on Brad Bird’s 1906. However, the book upon which that movie is based does not contain a scene set in the Pompeii ruins. Thus, speculation has begun regarding a possible second collaboration between Warner Bros. and Pixar.
