Rob Cohen, director of the upcoming The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, reveals to SCI FI Wire that the first trailer for the series’ second sequel will arrive in June. The filmmaker links the trailer’s delay with unfinished visual effects. However, Cohen does not believe that the marketing for Dragon Emperor has begun too late. “We have an audience that knows the name[…] I think if we have a solid couple of months to advertise, no one will miss it,” says Cohen. “[Audiences] will have made up their minds, but I don’t want them to make up their minds on incomplete work.”
