Israeli actress Ayelet Zurer will star opposite Tom Hanks in Columbia Pictures’ Da Vinci Code prequel Angels & Demons, says Variety. Ewan McGregor is “in talks” to join the thriller based on the Dan Brown best-seller. If McGregor agrees to do the film, he will portray a powerful Vatican insider who assists religious art scholar Robert Langdon (Hanks). Director Ron Howard will re-team with his Da Vinci Code screenwriter Akiva Goldsman for Demons.
