Ingelsby sets bar high with Low

Variety notices the remarkable transition in the life of Brad Ingelsby. The 27-year old began last week as an insurance salesman who lives with his parents, but became a rich screenwriter by Thursday. Outbidding four studios, Relativity Media gave $650,000 against $1.1 million for Ingelsby’s The Low Dweller, described as “a dark drama set in 1986 in Indiana.” Ridley Scott will helm the pic, with Leonardo DiCaprio starring in it.
