MTV Movie News talks with Guillermo del Toro, who was announced last week as the director for The Hobbit and its sequel. In the interview, Del Toro hints at his plans for adapting the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. Furthermore, he addresses his faithfulness to the vision Peter Jackson established in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, including the films’ cast. “If you don’t think Peter [Jackson] did a fabulous job, very likely you won’t think I will,” notes Del Toro.
